      working principle

      The plunger pump ② sucks the foam liquid and pressurizes it into the outlet of the hydraulic motor ①, so as to realize the mixing of the foam liquid and water.

      Since the hydraulic motor ① and the plunger pump ② are volumetric, within a certain speed range, the capacity of each revolution of the hydraulic motor ① and the plunger pump ② is constant. Within a certain flow range, the flow rate of the hydraulic motor ① has an approximately linear relationship with the rotational speed, and the flow rate of the plunger pump ② also has a linear relationship with the rotational speed. Adjust the capacity per revolution of the hydraulic motor ① and the plunger pump ②. Achieve accurate mix ratios.

      installation requirements

      7.1 Atmospheric pressure foam liquid storage tank and skid can be installed on two cement foundations, and the two cement foundations should ensure the same level.

      7.2 The normal pressure foam liquid storage tank and the skid shall be fixed on the cement foundation with anchor bolts.

      7.3 Manual or electric valves should be installed in the water inlet and outlet pipes of the turbine, and a filter should be installed at the water inlet of the turbine to prevent debris from entering the turbine and damaging the equipment.

      7.4 The distance of the straight pipe section at the inlet of the turbine is not less than 5 times the diameter of the pipeline, and the pipeline should be straight without obstruction; the distance between the outlet of the turbine is not less than 10 times the diameter of the pipeline, and the pipeline should be straight without obstruction.

      7.5 Metal hoses are used to connect the normal-pressure foam liquid storage tank and the skid to meet the installation error and ensure the installation of the pipeline connection.

      Operation

      8.1 Filling the foam liquid storage tank with foam liquid or replenishing foam liquid:

      Before adding foam to an empty foam tank, make sure the foam tank is clean and dry. Then close the drain valve, storage tank inspection valve and sampling port, open the liquid filling port ball valve and the root valve of the liquid level gauge (two), and then use the electric liquid filling pump to inject the foam liquid in the barrel from the liquid filling port into the foam liquid storage tank Inside. The liquid level gauge can display the liquid level of the foam liquid in the tank. When the foam liquid is full, close the ball valve of the filling port and open the maintenance valve of the storage tank, that is, the foam liquid is filled.

      If it is necessary to replenish the foam liquid, connect the electric liquid filling pump, open the ball valve of the liquid filling port, and inject the foam liquid in the barrel into the foam liquid storage tank from the liquid filling port (note: the added foam liquid should be of the same manufacturer and model) , and has not expired). The liquid level gauge can display the liquid level of the foam liquid in the tank. When the foam liquid is full, close the ball valve of the filling port.

      8.2 Cleaning of the foam storage tank:

      When the foam liquid reaches the shelf life or when the foam liquid brand is changed, the foam liquid storage tank needs to be cleaned. First, close the maintenance valve of the storage tank, open the drain valve of the foam liquid storage tank, open the vent valve at the bottom of the liquid level gauge, and drain the foam liquid in the tank. Then flush the storage tank. After the flushing is completed, the inside of the tank should be dried, and then the foam liquid should be filled. The filling steps should be in accordance with Article 8.1.

      8.3 Valve status under normal working conditions:

      In the complete set of devices, the electric valves are all normally closed valves, and the manual valves are all normally open valves. The valves outside the remaining devices shall be determined in combination with the design requirements of the project.

      8.4 Start and stop:

      ◆Auto state:

      When a fire occurs, the central control room sends a starting command to the control cabinet of the proportional mixing device, and the control cabinet automatically starts the device, first opens the foam liquid inlet valve, the mixed liquid outlet valve (if any), and opens the fire water inlet valve. When the device is turned on. The pressure sensor set at the foam outlet will automatically detect the pressure of the foam liquid, if the set value is not reached, the control cabinet will automatically switch to the backup system.

      ◆Manual state:

      When a fire occurs, the proportional mixing device is manually activated on the site of the device. There are two ways: one is one-key start, you can manually press the "one-key start" button of the control cabinet, the device will open the valve according to the above procedure, and the device will start to work; the other is to manually press the control cabinet buttons one by one, First open the foam liquid inlet valve, the mixed liquid outlet valve (if any), and open the fire water inlet valve. At this time, the device is opened. The pressure sensor set at the foam outlet will automatically detect the pressure of the foam liquid, if the set value is not reached, the control cabinet will automatically switch to the backup system.

      ◆Switch program:

      When the main system is started and the foam liquid outlet pressure sensor does not detect the set pressure value, the control cabinet can automatically switch to the standby system to continue running, and the switching function is also applicable in the manual state.

      Maintenance

      9.1 Repair, maintenance and management personnel should be familiar with the principle, performance, operation, repair, maintenance and management requirements of the device.

      9.2 Carry out visual inspection at least once a month. The foam liquid pump, each valve and each joint should have no leakage, and each valve should be in a normal position. Carry out start-up experiments on various valves, and at the same time check whether the automatic control system is normal. If the action is abnormal, it should be repaired, replaced, etc.

      9.3 The valve should be lubricated and maintained every quarter, and at least one running test (no foam liquid) should be carried out to ensure that all parts in the device are in good condition and the performance of the device is reliable.

      9.4 Check the foam inlet line filter at least once every six months to check whether the filter is clean, otherwise the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced.

      9.5 Check the foam liquid level at least once a year, and the liquid level should be kept at the highest level, otherwise the foam liquid should be filled.

      9.6 Regularly check the amount of oil in the crankcase of the foam pump. The amount of engine oil can be seen through the sight glass on the crankcase shell, or measured by the oil dipstick. When the amount of engine oil is reduced to the minimum mark position, it needs to be filled (engine oil brand 85W90). It is recommended to change the engine oil after 50 hours of operation for the first time, and then Change the oil every 200 hours of running time, and change the oil at least every 5 years.

      9.7 Every two years, the spray foam test should be carried out together with the terminal foam equipment, such as foam cannon, generator, etc. After the system test is completed, the device must be rinsed with clean water and then emptied to restore the system.

      Precautions

      10.1 When adding foam, the selected foam liquid should be of the same manufacturer and model, and the shelf life has not expired; if the brand foam liquid is replaced, the foam liquid storage tank needs to be cleaned, and the new foam liquid can be filled only after drying Pack. The storage environment temperature should be higher than the minimum use temperature of the foam liquid, otherwise the foam tank should be insulated.

      10.2 When filling the foam liquid for the first time, check whether the foam liquid storage tank is clean. Otherwise, the storage tank can be cleaned according to Article 8.2.

      10.3 In order to ensure sufficient foam liquid within the specified fire extinguishing time and the equipment is in standby state, the foam stock liquid in the foam liquid storage tank must be filled with the designed amount (except during performance test).

      10.4 The shelf life of the foam liquid should be in accordance with the instructions of the foam liquid factory. If it is found to be deteriorated, it should be replaced immediately.

      10.5 After using the foam liquid filling pump, clean the inside of the pump with clean water to prevent the foam liquid from corroding.

      When the foam liquid pump is running, it is strictly forbidden to close the valve of the foam liquid inlet, and pay attention to whether the pressure is within the normal range.
